
Jan Delaney
Occupational Therapy Program Supervisor
Jan earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy with a minor in psychology at the University of New Hampshire. She has over 20 years experience in the field, with a special interest in the pediatric population. After working in clinic settings for 17 years, she has joined Leading Therapy Home to bring her expertise to children and families in the home setting.
Jan has extensive training in sensory integration, including her certification to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. Additionally, she has extensive training in the vestibular system. Jan has specific training in reflex integration, feeding therapy, including the SOS approach to feeding, Bal-a-vis-x, Therapeutic Listening, ExerShine, Visual perceptual and ocular motor treatment, and Brain Gym for Special Needs.
Jan loves educating families and professionals on how to support children in the home, school, and community. She is passionate about developing a rapport with each individual child and family and recognizes that each family is working through their own unique challenges. Jan will support the child and family in developing the child’s
foundational growth, to meet goals and achieve lasting success. Jan loves bringing smiles and laughter to therapy to make the therapeutic experience something to look forward to.
In her free time, Jan enjoys spending time with her family and watching her 3 daughters do what they love most; soccer, dancing, singing, and acting. She and her husband especially enjoy winters when they get to ski together as a family.
